Rent@Queenstown
The BYD e6, explained.
Booking, insurance and licence checks all happen on Drive lah. This page is for everything after that — the things you actually need to know once the car is yours for the weekend.
Why this page exists
Rent@Queenstown is a few good things rented out in one neighbourhood, so the answers should live somewhere you can read at your own pace instead of being retyped into a chat every time.
If your question is not here, ask — and it will be, for whoever asks next.
Questions people actually ask
- Where do I book, and who handles insurance?
Everything to do with booking, payment, insurance and licence checks is Drive lah's — their terms apply, and their support handles anything that goes wrong with the booking itself. This page only covers using the car.
- How do pick-up and drop-off work?
Drive lah sends the handover instructions for your booking. If anything in them is unclear, message us before you set off rather than at the kerb — it is much easier to sort out in advance.
- Where do I charge it?
It is an EV, so plan the first charge before you need it rather than after. Singapore's public networks are widely available and the car will show you what it needs. If you have not driven an EV before, tell us when you book and we will walk you through it.
- What if something is wrong with the car?
Message us straight away, and contact Drive lah as well if it affects the booking or the insurance. Do not wait until drop-off to mention it — something small reported early is nobody's problem, and the same thing found afterwards is an argument.
- Can I take it into Malaysia?
That depends on Drive lah's terms for this listing and on the charging situation across the causeway. Ask before you book rather than after.
